In general, with the help of this feature, users can even control their Android phones with Windows 11 computers, including managing messages, notifications, setting alarms, and applications.

To use this new feature, users need to be on Windows 11 and connect their Android 14 smartphone using the Phone Link app. Another way to connect is through the Link Devices feature.

Once connected, the Copilot chat interface can control some functions on the smartphone. For example, users can set an alarm, get summaries of their text messages, and send or receive messages. The AI can also access the phone’s contacts.

This integration allows users to ask the AI on their PC to check and summarize recent messages, draft and send new messages, and share contact details of specific people.
